Dennis Hernandez, Esq., is a fifth-generation native of Tampa, Florida, who comes from a long line of family members proudly serving in law enforcement and the military. At a young age, he chose to serve the community through legal advocacy and started practicing law at just 24 years old. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Duke University and earned law degrees from Florida State University College of Law and Harvard Law School.
In 1996, Dennis founded the Dennis Hernandez Injury Attorneys law firm, which focuses primarily on the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability. Located on Kennedy Blvd. near Hyde Park, the firm’s main office has served the greater Tampa Bay area for over twenty-five years. The firm has recovered multi-million-dollar settlements and awards for clients and has grown to include offices in St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Fort Myers, Orlando, Bradenton, and Lakeland. Nationally, Dennis Hernandez has been recognized for his accomplishments as a trial attorney and is one of only 1,378 attorneys who have graduated from the Trial Lawyers College.
