Lawyer Profile

Tali Best Collins, Esq. has spent nearly two decades in family law guided by a single conviction — that the best attorneys are genuine resources for people in a time of desperate need. As Managing Partner of Best Law Firm in Paradise Valley, Arizona, she brings that conviction to every client, every case, and every conversation. Tali is compassionate and experienced in being able to help families in need of legal advice.

Tali earned her Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota, where she spent a semester studying law in Oslo, Norway, and her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Loyola University Chicago, where she spent a semester studying in Rome, Italy. That foundation in European legal culture gave her an international perspective that has shaped her practice in unexpected ways. She has testified in a Canadian court on behalf of Canadian clients, and has successfully navigated the US legal system to reunite an Italian mother with her son, returning the child safely home to Italy.

Before joining Best Law Firm, Tali spent nearly seven years as a litigator and national trainer for attorneys throughout the United States at a father’s rights law firm — an experience that gave her something most family law attorneys never develop. She has seen divorce and custody from every angle, represented both mothers and fathers, and understands how the other side thinks. That cross-perspective makes her a more effective advocate and a more honest counselor.

At Best Law Firm, Tali created the firm’s legal divorce coaching model — a by-the-hour service that gives people access to experienced legal guidance without the cost of full representation. She personally handles every new client consultation, because she believes the first conversation matters more than most people realize.

She has served as a Judge Pro Tem in Maricopa County Superior Court — one of the most significant recognitions the court system extends to a practicing attorney, and an experience that permanently shaped how she thinks about advocacy, preparation, and what judges genuinely need from the attorneys who appear before them.

In 2009 Tali co-authored The Divorce Coach Handbook with her mother and founding partner, Cynthia L. Best, Esq. The 2026 edition launches this year. They wrote it because they believe knowledge is power and protection — and that every family navigating divorce deserves to understand what is happening to them. She recently joined the advisory board of an emerging AI company focused on the future of family law, because attorneys who understand where this technology is going will serve their clients better.

Tali is a member of the Maricopa County Association of Family Mediators and the Arizona Association of Family Law Attorneys, and a Board Member of the Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation.

She has called the Scottsdale area home for over thirty years, is the proud mother of two young sons, and plays tennis in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale — deeply connected to the community she serves.

If you are facing a family law matter in Arizona, or simply need to talk to someone who has seen it all — she is here.
