Ben-Shidah Law Firm, LLC was founded by Ifeoluwa R. Ben-Shidah (Olu), a native from New England, born and raised. He then went on to achieve his Bachelors degree at Western Carolina University, and then attended Western Michigan Cooley Law School obtaining his Juris Doctor with a concentration in litigation.
While in law school, Olu was very involved in the community. He could often be found volunteering in the local soup kitchens, mentoring students at Ypsilanti High School, painting homes for the homeless and interning with a District Court Judge in Ann Arbor, MI. During his first year he beat the odds by competing in his first mock trial and winning. He was also presented with the school’s Leadership Achievement Award upon graduation.
He decided to take his skill set and ambitions to Georgia where he fell in love with the good food, great people and endless opportunities. In Georgia he has gained experience on both sides of the table.
As an ADA, Olu prosecuted hundreds of felonies that ranged in severity. Being a prosecutor, he knows what it takes to attack charges brought by the state.
Olu has also represented hundreds of criminal and immigration cases throughout Georgia. These cases range from misdemeanors to felonies, traffic citations and deportations. He used his knowledge and experience to produce great results, and reunite families.
When he isn’t putting up a fight, he utilizes his spare time with family, friends, traveling, bowling and lifting weights.
