A seasoned attorney and policy analyst, Mr. Jezari earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and social science from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1999. Mr. Jezari subsequently completed a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University in 2010 and began work as a summer criminal defense associate with the Public Defender’s Office in El Paso, Texas.

Driven to help those less fortunate, Mr. Jezari went on to receive a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law and foster his professional knowledge as a summer bankruptcy associate for the Law Office of Salvador Ramirez. Under his tutelage, he learned to effectively research and draft adversarial proceedings, as well as motions, letters, objections and memoranda on a range of chapter seven and 13 legal matters. Prior to obtaining his current role, Mr. Jezari worked as an associate attorney with the Law Office of Michael R. Nevarez and received a Master of Laws in taxation through the University of Houston’s Law Center.

Presently, Mr. Jezari excels as an attorney at law with the eponymous Jezari Law, where they focus on civil and tax disputes. In his work with the firm, he handles tax controversies between taxpayers and the IRS, as well as Tax Court petitions, IRS lien and levy removals, innocent spouse applications, payroll and employment taxes, penalty abatements and installment agreements. Though Mr. Jezari’s career has been suffused with highlights, he is especially proud to have represented more than 100 individuals and businesses in achieving a resolution with the IRS.

In light of his wide breadth of professional knowledge, Mr. Jezari authored “Regaining Confidence: Protecting the Sanctity of Elections Without Burdening Speech,” “Moving Towards a Supreme Tribunal: America’s 21st Century Obligation to Foster Peace” and “Wal-Mart v. Dukes: A Need to promulgate a More Reasonable ‘Significant Proof’ Standard for Title VII Class Certifications.” Due to his outstanding body of work, he earned the AMJUR Award and several scholarships through Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Looking toward the future, Mr. Jezari intends to expand his firm and represent clients around the country.
